The Dust Storm
Caught in a desert storm, the rider and her dragon race toward a cave in the rocks. They take shelter from the wall of dust — not ideal, but enough for now.

Water lies behind the prison walls. Under cover of night, rider and dragon attempt to slip inside before they must take flight again.
In the desert heat, an elf traveler meets a bright-feathered companion — and a quiet promise begins between two people finding each other across the sand.
Joh works late with lab partner Mirael. She works hard, dresses nice, and has horns to boot — will they figure out a new invention?
Wide ridges and golden grass. Lem walks a high path with her companions — a place that holds her longer than the road should.
Rain in the city. Where must you go? Not on my scrolls — for Veylan will gloat. Stay dry out there.
A kiss on the beach — soft light, salt air, and a quiet moment between the waves.
Alone in a foggy clearing, Sorrel admits he doesn’t know what he’s going to do. Lost and uncertain, he walks into a vast, ancient forest of twisted trees. Deep among the moss-draped trunks, something large and hungry is already watching.
The directions refuse to make sense. Trees weave notes, hanging red banners mock the path, and a single wrong turn leads Sorrel face-to-face with something that should never have been woken. A quiet comedy of getting thoroughly, beautifully lost.
Waking up under a stranger’s warning flags, Sorrel meets Bram — a weary forest traveler who is not amused. The flags were never festive. Something big and smart is hunting these woods, and Sorrel just walked straight through them.
Bram escorts Sorrel east through the misty woods. Warning signs, glowing blue mushrooms, and a few ignored rules later — the pair keep moving, somewhere between lost and slightly less lost.
A bridge, a ranger’s warning, and two travelers who should probably listen. Sorrel and Bram keep following the path — reliability optional.

The Artist
I’m Theresa Kewley — an AI video artist creating short fantasy stories. Each piece is a small window into a larger world: dragon riders waiting out dust storms, travelers lost in misty woods, quiet desert meetings that change everything.
The work lives in series. Ashdrift follows a rider and her dragon across the desert. Sorrel wanders the forest with a reluctant companion. Resonance — Mini’s steps outside the main film for smaller character moments. New episodes appear first on X, then find their way here.
Based in Michigan. Outside the work I’m often outdoors — climbing, mountain biking, and chasing the kind of terrain that shows up in the stories. Drawn to open landscapes and tales that feel like they could keep going long after the screen goes dark.
